Project Overview
The primary objective was to build a robust, scalable employee management and time-tracking system, providing organizations with a unified platform to monitor productivity, manage projects, and streamline complex administrative tasks like payroll, leave management, and invoicing.
I led the majority of the user interface design, prioritizing a clean, intuitive, and responsive experience capable of handling dense data sets. On the backend, I architected and developed the RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express, implementing core business logic for the central dashboard, multi-format timesheets, granular productivity reports (screenshots, app/URL usage), financial modules (invoices, payroll), and complex approval workflows.
The final product is a highly functional, multi-tenant SaaS application that empowers teams to manage their workforce efficiently. It significantly reduces manual tracking overhead while offering clear data visualizations, reliable financial management, and robust access controls.

- UI/UX Design: Led the end-to-end interface design, translating complex data (timesheets, productivity metrics, financials) into intuitive, responsive React components.
- Backend API Architecture: Designed and implemented robust, secure RESTful APIs using Node.js, Express, and MongoDB to handle high-volume productivity and tracking data.
- Dashboard & Analytics Engine: Developed the core dashboard module, implementing complex data aggregations and integrating Recharts for visual insights.
- Productivity Pipeline: Engineered the backend logic and reporting interfaces for processing employee monitoring data, including screenshots, apps, and URL tracking.
- Timesheet & Approval Workflows: Built the entire timesheet engine, supporting multiple timeframes (daily to monthly) and multi-step management approval workflows.
- Financial Modules: Developed the invoicing and automated payroll calculation systems, handling diverse billing rates and integrating PDF/Excel export functionalities.
